Kodiak Disc Brake Kit Installation - 2022 Trails West RPM Gooseneck- Video

Hi there, trailer owners, today, in your 2022 Trails West by RPM, we're gonna be taking off the old drum electric brakes and switching them over to electric over hydraulic disc brakes. And to complete this, we're gonna be using Kodiak's disc brake and rotor conversion kit. This is for one axle, so you wanna make sure you pick up two kits as this is a tandem axle trailer. These are 12 inch rotors, they come in the kit and they're designed for trailers with 15 or 16 inch wheels with 6,000 pound axles and the wheels need to have a five and a half inch bolt pattern with six lugs, and this is what our new rotor assemblies look like when they're installed. You'll have complete replacement of your old existing drum unit, which includes the bearings and everything. Now the bearings don't come included with your rotors, you will need to purchase those separately. more

Hi there trailer owners, today in your 2022 trails west by RPM. We're gonna be converting this over from electric drum brakes to electric over hydraulic disc brakes. And we're going to be installing Kodiak's tandem axle, flexible line kit, to complete this installation. And this is what a line kit looks like when it's installed. This is a tandem axle kit, that's gonna give you all the necessary line that you'd need for a complete electric over hydraulic conversion. You'll get your main line, which is going from our actuator, located in our compartment here all the way back to our axles then this is a 24 foot line. more
